Piles are rigid structural components inserted in the soil surface and underlying rock strata to transfer loads from an overlaying structure (superstructure). Depending on the kind of load and soil conditions, the installation method can vary.
CAST-IN-SITU BORED PILES
This form of pile installation replaces soil extracted by drilling rather than occupying the space by displaced soil. As a result, it is mostly dependent on the end-bearing capability or friction of the earth layer at the drilled depth. Bored piles have the greatest pile dimensions and hence the greatest load bearing capacity.
Types of Bored pile Provided:
- Casing
- Permanent Casing
- Temporary Casing
- Vertical board pile.
- Raked board pile
- Continuous flight auger (CFA) piles
